Welcome to the Breadroll Manifesto!

Last updated: August 2nd, 2021

TLDR:

Butter is the bourgeois while Rolls is the proletarians. Together, they make up the Breadrolls society in #rebecca. One can be promoted to the Bread class by being an honorary breadroll.

Preface

The Breadrolls, an international association of breadrolls, which could of course be only a secret one, under conditions obtaining at the time, self-commissioned Rebecca, the superior breadroll, at the Cinnamon Butter House held in CA on August 2nd, 2021, to write for publication a detailed theoretical and practical programme for the Breadrolls. Such was the origin of the following Manifesto, the manuscript of which travelled digitally via Slack to be shipped in #ship.

Chapter I. Bread and Rolls

The history of all breadtherto existing society is the history of butter struggles.

Bread and roll, cinnamon and butter, and eater and the eaten stood in constant opposition to one another, carried on an uninterrupted, now hidden, now open fight, a fight that each time ended, either in a revolutionary reconstitution of society at large, or in the common ruin of the contending butter classes.

In the earlier epochs of history, we find almost everywhere a complicated arrangement of society into various orders, a manifold gradation of butter rank. In ancient Texas Roadhouse, we have butter manufacturers, shippers, eaters, slaves; in modern Slack era, butter and rolls; in almost all of these classes, again, subordinate gradations.

The modern butterolls society that has sprouted from the ruins of butter society has not done away with class antagonisms. It has but established new classes, new conditions of oppression, new forms of struggle in place of the old ones.

Our epoch, the epoch of the butterolls, possesses, however, this distinct feature: it has simplified class antagonisms. Society as a whole is more and more splitting up into two great hostile camps, into two great classes directly facing each other — Butter and Rolls.
